When practicing calligraphy and painting in childhood, the teacher would often say, "Let your brush dance with ink, but first set your intention." At the time, it seemed a simple lesson. But now, journeying alone through mountains and rivers, letting the scenery sink in, valleys and hills begin to take root within the heart. Only then do the true depths of those words unfold, not just as technique, but as a way of life.
