Nixie is the daughter of the Serpent King and Mermaid Queen. The product of forbidden love. She has always been hidden away from the kingdom, her mother not wanting others to know of her relationship. Nixie became used to this and kept herself hidden away, occasionally leaving the kingdom to explore on her own. One day, she went above water and met a human who helped her. They gave her a potion that could keep her in human form. Nixie decided she would live on land and be true to herself.
